Quarrel in Quahog: The Establishment of Petoria

It seems today that all you see is violence in movies, and secessionist movements in the contiguous United States! The year is 2000 and the 4 bedroom Republic of Petoria has just asserted its independence from the US. This advanced non-traditional crisis committee sees the delegates acting as the Presidential Cabinet of Petoria, challenged with navigating the dangerous waters of international law, politics, and civil development. How will you as a cabinet work together to handle this unprecedented crisis?.

Letter from the Crisis Director:

I am Jon Caldes and I will be your crisis director for Quarrel in Quahog, the Establishment of Petoria! I am a current senior in Central Eurasian Studies and Linguistics, focusing on the Kazakh and Russian languages, and have been involved in MUN since my sophomore year. I am originally from Cherry Hill, NJ, a little town across the river from Philadelphia. I cannot emphasize how excited I am to be running this committee this year, this committee is the culmination of my years of MUN hypotheticals. I have designed this committee with non-traditional elements to make it uniquely entertaining and challenging for delegates. I look forward to seeing you all there!  Good Luck!
